Main Theme Blue Fish - The Sky Crawlers

Uploading the last request for Batch 5. This is another music score from The Sky Crawlers. Thank you for your patience. New Batch was opened and now closed due to high request. Batch 7 will be opened soon as I finished most of requests from Batch 6.

Speaking about this piece of music, I think it is not a very easy piece, but actually the tricky part is sign bars. Accompaniment part are easier to work and to play. This part can be completely taken by piano or harp. Intermediate students should be able to play, while Beginner-Intermediate students are encourage to try.

Hajimari no Hi - Tegami-bachi piano cover

I remember someone request me to play Hajimari no Hi months months ago. Got no time to really practice, I decided to ask my friend to play (though she also rarely practices..). Because we only have a day to work, she asked me to double recording. First she recorded her playing on the piano, then we recorded the piano for video presentation. The good thing is, this type of presentation is enabling tutorial. As you can see the specific note is red when played. So, those early stage piano student can observe the notes.

Overall, the playing is using the j-mAdness' sheet music. What makes different is the tempo and the arrangement. The tempo is much slower than the original music. Also, she cut the rap and other parts. As exchange, she played on different octaves to create different feelings. At the minute 2:50 - 2:55, she also change the melody as part of variation. Nearly end of the song, she made poco a poco ritardando and closed it with fermata.

The left hand style is simplified into legato. This completely change the mood. The original music is more into disco style (or funk?). To compare, this is a piano version which very likely still follow the original style of Hajimari no Hi, played by Delwyn Lim

For the sheet music and tutorial of Hajimari no Hi, please read it here.
Anyway, enjoy the performance and happy playing!!

Updating Mania Butterfly

Around a month ago, I received an e-mail from T. Daengdej. This person made a nice Mania Butterfly, using our existing sheet to make it as strings sheet. Though this is T. Daengdej's first transcribe, the accuracy was pretty close to the original sound.

So strings people, have fun to play it!
And thank you for T. Daengdej for letting us to upload the file. The file is also available from the original Mania Butterfly's post.

Neat Sister - Rozen Maiden

Finished this request.

So far this is not a hard song to work. I would recommended Beginner-Intermediate to play either as main solo or the accompaniment part.

The B-part and B'-part might be tricky, but it should be easy enough if you practice a lot on that part.

Though the overall sounds very likely played with keyboard, as I mention earlier, you could separated each part into main solo, chords, and bass. In actual sound, the bass part had a lot of improvisation, which I couldn't transcribed all of them on my sheet version. The chords was handled by guitar and I didn't think the chords were hard to execute. I think the most interesting part was the percussion. So actually you can perform this song as a band.

Other thing I noticed was nobody yet show off themselves playing this song on Youtube. This gives you a big opportunity to be the pioneer. ;)

Mania Butterfly - Jormungand

Another sheet music that is still hard to transcribe is Mania Butterfly. Iwasaki Taku seemed know very well how to make a difficult music (T.T)

I leave the chords part now, see if someday I can work on them. Meanwhile, violinist should try this beautiful score. I would think Intermediate musicians can do this. However, this is a good 'etude' for Beginner-Intermediate musicians.

If there's any expert musician who can play the accompaniment part (chords), that would be great! If cello, violins, and violas are not available, then piano can substitute. Maybe also good with harp. Either way, you just need to try.

Anyway, nobody has ever played this score and upload it to youtube. So this is your chance!

Anyway, the strings version is made by T. Daengdej. Read the small post about it here

I will update this page if I can make the chords.
