Contrary to DONOR/RECIPIENT, Hope is a calm score, but an emotional one. Title and composition exactly match. The combination of piano and strings are also a perfect choice. Each note is clear, simple, and yet, giving a right impact to the whole composition.
Comparing to DONOR/RECIPIENT, this is nothing, heheheh. I mean, I will encourage all beginners to try, at least for the main sound, whatever instrument you are playing. For piano (pop) accompaniment, I would suggest intermediate student to take care.
Play it alone or in group? Both are possible. Pianist can definitely take care as soloist. Strings can act as a group and take over all piano part in the original composition and completely played with violin and or viola. Of course, to play it as soloist will have different impact rather than a group (piano and strings).
Other instrumentalist are welcome to play. The notation here is pretty simple. I am sure woodwinds can play it. Or even more individual instruments like harmonica and mandolin. Hm, I wonder how it would go out!
So, E N J O Y!
